Recipes
In today’s fast-paced world, where convenience is often essential, thoughtful choices are so important when it comes to our families nutrition. By embracing the principles of naturopathy, we follow a holistic approach that values the innate wisdom of the body and the power of natural ingredients – food as medicine! We’ll work with you to start improving the balance, colour and nutrition in lunchboxes in a way that works for your family.
Navigating allergies or intolerances, or family members with a limited list of foods they enjoy can be overwhelming and frustrating. Together we can find ways to help gently add more foods and diversity to those lunchboxes and minimise any uncomfortable symptoms along the way.

Quick Quinoa Crackles
We love making our own chocolate! Chocolate crackles have long been a family favourite, but we’ve given it a bit of a facelift. We’ve added in some extras that have a few more nutritional benefits, and we enjoy them as a sweet treat. We’ve made ours simply in a...
Caprese Salad Sticks
These Caprese Salad Sticks marks the start of a series of Salad Stick recipes that we'll be sharing. There's something about the novelty of a skewer that kids love, and we thought we'd put some salads to the test to up their veggie intake. Keep an eye out in the...
Green Goddess Dressing
Fresh and zesty salad dressing that doubles as a dip! Get the creamy texture without the dairy from blended avocado, and load up on greens. You can go even further with the greens if you're on a roll by blending in a handful or two of baby spinach (just add a little...
Super Quick Avocado Tuna Dip
This combination is a fantastic option if you're in a hurry. It's so versatile and can be used as a dip, spread, topping or salad. The pairing of avocado and tuna means you'll be serving a high fibre, high protein combo that is rich in beautiful fats for happy and...
Green Mango Smoothie
Summer in a smoothie, with the addition of the mango in this blend. You can purchase frozen mango all year round (or freeze your own over the warmer months when they're at their peak). It is one of my favourite things, the first time you smell a fresh mango in the...
Brussels Sprouts Skewers
A yummy and quick side dish that is great to serve with your dinner and save some leftovers to serve hot (in an insulated container) or cold in tomorrows lunchbox. The skewers add an extra element of fun (which never hurts when you're breaking down those long held...
Asian Style Brussels Sprouts Pancakes
Perfect veggie loaded pancakes for lunchboxes! Great for little hands, and an easy way to introduce Brussels sprouts in a familiar way. Familiarity can be key to trying new foods, whether it be flavours, shapes, colours or textures. You'll love how quick it is to...
Lentil Dhal
I love how versatile this Lentil Dhal recipe is, it's my favourite and I always have some stashed away in the freezer. Firstly, it's a super simple recipe, and it makes loads. Secondly, it is really nutrient dense - rich in fibre and protein from the red lentils,...
Brussels Sprouts Slaw
Geez, Brussels sprouts get a bad rap! Maybe it’s the memory or vision of grey-green overcooked mush that has lost all it’s sweetness and left all the bitterness. I mean, that would probably do it! I love Brussels sprouts, and they are a regular feature in many forms...
Chocolate, Beetroot, Quinoa Muffins with Choc Avo Icing
This is a great way to use up some leftovers if you’ve over-catered the quinoa (or you can head to this recipe if you want to plan a big batch and get a few recipes out of it). The cooked quinoa, rather than a flour makes for a beautifully moist cake, and is...
Minestrone Soup
There are a million different variations of Minestrone soup, but they all share the same cosiness that is perfect to warm you up on a cold day. This is my favourite combination of vegetables, but you can add or subtract anything you wish, and run with whatever is in...
Red Velvet Smoothie
Beetroot is a bit of a giver. It's a great vegetable that you can get a lot of bang-for-your-buck with on the nutrient front (you can usually tell these things by how richly coloured a fruit or vegetable is). Beetroot is a brilliant source of folate (a great...
